CANCER SEASON
The Moon people born under the Sun-sign of Cancer The Crab are influenced by the emotional, intuitive, sensitive and fiercely loyal element of water. Ruled by the ever changing moon, their moods can shift every 10 minutes!
Often quite shy or insecure, they have developed a tough crab-like shell for dealing with the world at large. They seek security - not just to protect themselves but also those they love. If anyone can help you gladly with a problem it’s a Moon person. But, please don’t forget to show your appreciation or you may get a sharp and very unexpected nip in the backside for your lack of sensitivity.
Cancerians are Cardinal signs which means they like to take charge and make good
leaders… like a mother duck with a bunch of wayward ducklings! They are also the most excellent, kind and entertaining friends - you can totally count on the Cancerian who has let you into their heart.
So what is coming at us this season? After having had two New Moons in Gemini we will have sown the seeds of lightness and love which should be germinating now, ready to be nourished and cared for under the Cancer Sun which is the sign of mothering and deep emotional care.
With so many planets in Gemini starting to move into Cancer the emphasis will surely be on caring more for each other, for finding kinder words and a friendly approach - we will be learning all about emotional intelligence during Cancer season.

JUNE 2OTH - SUN SQUARES NEPTUNE IN PISCES, SUN ENTERS CANCER, SUMMER SOLSTICE
The shift from Sun in Gemini to Sun in Cancer takes us from the world of the intellect, ideas and communications to the more emotional realm. This could be a confusing time for us if we need focus for day-to-day activities as the sun will be forming a square aspect to the watery and nebulous Neptune.
This is a fabulous time however for getting creative, making music and dreaming. It is also the Pagan festival of Litha - a time when Fairies come out to play, or meddle, with us humans. Let’s make the most of the extra Midsummer daylight, dust off our wings and have some fun with the little people. Try not to drink too much punch though as Neptune could have us going over the top or feeling a little drained; maybe get an early night and have some lovely dreams.

JUNE 22ND - FULL MOON IN CAPRICORN SQUARE NEPTUNE
Some of our endeavours will be coming to fruition or getting the spotlight, though with Capricorn housing this Full Moon it could also be a good time to have a peek at finances and structures to make sure all is well under the bonnet of life. Working alone may also be more productive if anything needs doing with accuracy today.
The magical atmosphere created by Neptune comes to a peak - time to have some special time with those we love in the evening, but do expect the emotions to be high… let’s go easy on ourselves and others.

JUNE 26TH - MERCURY IN CANCER TRINES SATURN IN PISCES
A good day for pulling together all that intensity into a coherent sentence or two. We will be able to evaluate the deep feelings we have been experiencing with the help of Mercury. An excellent day to get some serious work done with that smooth trine energy and also for tackling those serious situations or people.

JUNE 29TH - SATURN GOES RETROGRADE (until mid-November), VENUS IN CANCER SEXTILE MARS IN TAURUS
Big Daddy Saturn has left the building so we should be feeling slightly more relaxed for a while. This is a good time to think about what has been happening so far this year and ponder what it all means in a broader sense. We might start to get our ducks in a row without Saturn so focussed on shooting them straight down again!
There could be earth shifts or financial shocks with Uranus energy around these days so we should maybe not expose ourselves to any risk on this day with Saturn standing still (before going backwards) intensifying these energies.
The next few days will give us a bit more energy and enable us to have more productive and pleasant dealings with others. Indulge a little.
Get creative, get cooking, get into nature.

This should be a very lively day with plenty of energy to be had. Make time for some discussions as we may find the answers to riddles which have been perplexing us… basically, don’t do the accounts or the laundry, unless you like doing the laundry.
Shopping List - Treat yourself to a sun-hat and a kimono for down the park - if the weather is not still like April!

JULY 2ND - NEPTUNE IN PISCES GOES RETROGRADE (until Dec 7th)
Neptune is stationing before going backwards and we may be feeling surges of sentiment and nostalgia.
We will want to hear music we have loved, and to dream and create. The downside is we may be easily hijacked so try not to wave your phone around while walking in
Marylebone!... and remember if something seems to good to be true, it may not be.
Use any intense weirdness for making something beautiful, painting our nails, watering our plants or going for a paddle. Don’t forget to take a notebook for catching those fantastic ideas but maybe leave purses and wallets at home!

JULY 5TH - NEW MOON IN CANCER, MARS IN TAURUS SEXTILE SATURN IN PISCES
Time to put some energy into caring for the family / family business, or perhaps learn bricklaying or welding for building something sturdy and beautiful. Don’t forget yourself in these plans for future improvements. We will be thinking how to make our foundations stronger in this New Moon - maybe consider taking up core strengthening Yoga or gentle Tai Chi.

11TH-15TH JULY - VENUS ENTERS LEO (11th), JUPITER IN GEMINI SEXTILE NORTH NODE, VENUS OPPOSES PLUTO, VENUS SEXTILE LILITH (12th), SUN SQUARES CHIRON IN ARIES, MARS IN TAURUS CONJUNCT URANUS (15th)
Venus is going to have an intense ride into Leo by having a face-off with Pluto the day after arriving. This is probably going to send Venus into warrior mode and given the cluster of transits around these days the buzz word will be Gnarly… I don’t know how to spell that word but put a ‘G’ in front of an ’N’ and the jaw tenses up which is what I think we may be doing for a while!
With Gemini sextiling the North Node of the Moon, our best way forward through this will be to make like a Gemini. Try to keep things light, be curious and don’t forget to pack your sense of humour especially around relationship discussions as Venus and Pluto will be having some deep ones. Oh and don’t forget two heads are better than one, so run things past your friends to get
some feedback.
Venus will also have Black Moon Lilith on the phone and she will be wanting Venus to stand up for anyone feeling ashamed, all the outsiders and underdogs, and the weird people. She’ll be wanting to talk about the stuff people don’t want to talk about too and let’s face it, this is right up Pluto’s street!… I do hope they have a meaningful and productive discourse!
Meanwhile, we will be feeling our wounds with the Sun squaring Chiron (The wounded healer) and our weaknesses may be on show in a very uncomfortable way, or we may physically injure ourselves with Chiron in Aries… try not to rush things and if things get awkward or embarrassing, face it out… we are not perfect… we are all learning to be human here, which takes a long time!
On the same day (15th) we have Mars conjunct Uranus. O boy. Expect just about anything to happen which may include power cuts, water contamination, floods, extreme heat, earthquakes and all the banks in Willesden closing down on the same day!… oops that already happened, my crystal ball jumped into reverse for a sec… a very tricky day for sure, Captain says ‘batten down the hatches’.
Shopping List - Hammer and nails for battening down, make-up for putting on our friendliest faces and facing things out, sticking plasters for when you hit your thumb while battening down hatches, eye mask for going to bed and avoiding the whole thing.

JULY 20TH - MARS ENTERS GEMINI, MARS IN GEMINI SEXTILES SATURN IN PISCES. JULY 21ST - FULL MOON IN CAPRICORN, MERCURY IN CANCER SQUARES URANUS IN TAURUS.
More insecurity and words flying around in the face of disruptive and uncomfortable changes. I think we will be trying hard to shore things up and hopefully Gemini will be using the energy Mars will be offering to communicate in a healing way rather than having a shouting match.
We will definitely be busy and probably having to deal with multiple situations at the same time - what fun! The full moon in Capricorn will be shedding some wisdom and maybe talking some sense into us. If it’s not still raining, get outside and grab some Moon-rays… and remember to breathe!
Shopping List - Anything which soothes and notebooks for not forgetting all the things we are trying to do simultaneously…oh, and lots of pens and pencils as we will be losing them left, right and centre.
